Mental Resilience: Tip 2 | The stories we tell ourselves

There are stories about others that we all have running through our minds.

In tough situations or when we are stressed, these stories may lead us to presume less than noble intentions of others while, at the same time, reinforcing our altruistic intentions.

Learn to be aware of, listen to and stop all negative, mental stories about others.  You may find they are more pervasive than you'd imagine.  They create blindspots that restrict the opportunity to learn and grow from the other person who may have an idea, solution or perspective that we need to consider.

Be abundantly kind with the assumptions made about other's actions.  It can open the door of possibility.
