Which of these most closely resembles your culture at work?
- The good of each person and the customer is top of mind over the success of self. People eagerly help others, train and seek training, and are open to constructive feedback. There is collaboration and sharing of information.
- The good of self is most important (maybe survival is an underlying theme). People may think about how to shine and stand out. Information is often withheld. In meetings, people speak over each other. People taking behind each other’s backs.
Leaders must realize that they have to not only model but root out unhealthy behavior and heal organizations if they will truly thrive. Not doing so is a missed opportunity. Not doing so erodes integrity and opens the organization to risk.
